Hotel Casa Vértiz is a small hotel in Oaxaca, and unfortunately, for this reason, we don't have a lift for the upper-floor rooms.

Sorry, we have a strict policy to only accept people. Unfortunately our hotel does not have any amenities or services available for pets.

Yes, the entire hotel receives daily maintenance and deep cleaning. We believe that a clean environment is important to everyone. You can be sure of reaching a responsible place.

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m., in case the guest arrives before the stipulated time, if the room is available, the guest can check-in early.

If the room is not available, the guest can leave their suitcases at reception and we will gladly take them to the room when it's ready.

Check-out is at 12:00 pm with a maximum tolerance of 1 hour, in case of not leaving the room at the established time, the hotel will reserve the right to move guests' belongings or leave them in the room by applying a Extra charge for late check-out, as applicable.

If you require early check-in or late check-out, please confirm availability at reception.

The price of the room does NOT include food, it is only the cost of the room.

We have our own restaurant Las Nubes, where we serve traditional Oaxacan food and bake bread every day. The prices are a la carte.

Unfortunately the rooms are non-smoking, however, you can smoke in the garden area, or on our huge terrace.

The hotel does not have the service inside the hotel, however we can help you get an external service and be able to have your clothes clean in a minimum period of one day. The costs of these services are not included in the room rates.

Of course, we suggest you contract this service in advance directly with us. The taxi company has trained drivers and appropriate vehicles to provide the best service to our guests. Contact us for more information.

At the airport there are also collective taxi options by mini van. They will take each individual passenger to their destination, so it could take you some time to arrive with us.

We are sorry, as this is a small hotel in the historic city center, we don't have our own parking, however, our reception staff can help you arrange this additional parking service for your vehicle with one of our two external providers closest to our location, which already include valet parking service at our hotel's doors.

That's right, at Hotel Casa Vértiz or at our Las Nubes restaurant you can pay with a VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS. We also accept interbank transfers and cash deposits.

In the case of deposit with documents (checks), you can make use of the contracted services after prior verification of your operation in our bank statements.

Any changes to dates or cancellations to your reservation must be requested by calling 01 800 837 8491 at least 15 days before your arrival date at the hotel, providing your confirmation code(s).

For reservations made on the same day of stay, changes or cancellations are not allowed.

Regardless of the nights reserved, if the change or cancellation is not made in the time and manner mentioned above, or in case the guest does not show up on the date of entry, they will be charged for No Show in this case corresponds to the charge for the amount of one night plus tax for each room to the credit card with which the reservation was guaranteed.

All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card in the name of the guest or a deposit for an amount equal to the total amount to be paid for the stay. In the event that said reservation is not guaranteed, the hotel will not be obliged to block the date of the reservation.

The hotel will carry out a pre-verification with the issuing bank of the credit card 72 hours before the arrival of the guest. If said pre-verification is not approved, the reservation will be considered as Not guaranteed and the hotel will not be obliged to respect the reservation.

The credit card provided when making the reservation will only serve as a guarantee of the reservation, therefore, when the guest's check-in is registered, the guest must provide the corresponding form of payment. In payments by credit or debit card, the cardholder must present their bank card and official photo identification.

For reservations where the full amount of the stay has been prepaid, changes, cancellations, and refunds are not permitted.

In stays of more than one night, if the guest does not show up at the hotel on the date and time established for the check-in record, the charge of No Show only for the first night of the reserved room plus taxes on the credit card with which the reservation was guaranteed. The rest of the stay will be automatically canceled.
